On 18 April 2023, The Muslim World published Volume 113, Issue 1-2 – a special issue featuring a collection of 14 articles on the domestic politics and international relations of Iran.

NESA Center Professor Dr. Gawdat Bahgat's February article "US-Iran Relations: Challenges and Opportunities" is included in the special issue.

The Muslim World, founded in 1911, is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Islam and Muslim societies and on historical and current aspects of Muslim-Christian relations.
