WATCH: Professor Gawdat Bahgat discusses Blinken’s latest visit to the Middle East on Al Jazeera News

On 7 January 2024, NESA Center Professor Gawdat Bahgat appeared on Al Jazeera News to discuss the purpose of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s fifth visit to the Middle East since Israel began its war on Gaza.

Professor Bahgat was joined by host/presenter Adrian Finighan and two other guests: Trita Parsi, Executive Vice President of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft; and Hafsa Halawa, an independent consultant who works on political, social, and economic affairs across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
