The Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies hosted a delegation of 34 Iraqi General Officers and senior representatives from the Iraqi security-related ministries for a Capstone seminar. The course focused on building partner capacity in strategic planning, leadership, and cross-coordination of the Interagency. When the Department of Defense recognized the need for an organization to serve and support the challenging region that extends from North Africa, across the Arabian Peninsula and into South Asia, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies was born.
